French Toast

Bread6 Slices (Artesano)
Eggs2 Large
Milk1/4 cup
Vanilla Extract1/4 teaspoon
Ground Ginger1/4 teaspoon
Cinnamon3/4 teaspoon
ButterAs needed
  1. Add eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground ginger to a bowl and mix until homogenous.
  2. Move mixture to a wide, flat container—such as a baking pan.
  3. Melt butter on a pan under medium-high heat.
  4. For each slice, add and swirl about 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon over the mixture.
  5. Lightly dip each side of a slice in the mixture and add to pan.
  6. Shortly after slices become silent, flip and cook other side.
  7. Continue to flip slices until lightly browned.
  8. Serve with preferred toppings.
